What is hypnosis?
Hypnosis is a very natural process of bypassing the conscious mind and communicating directly with your unconscious mind, creating positive and lasting changes in your body and behaviour. Of your unconscious mind is the memory bank for your life experiences and is the source of
your imagination & creativity. It is also responsible for looking after your physical body such as your breathing and
heart rate.
Hypnosis, or trance, is a state we all experience
every day. For example whilst day-dreaming, watching TV or driving a car. This relaxing state is used safely in hypnosis where direct communication with your unconscious mind can be established. You are in control at all times and the hypnotherapist is the merely the guide that leads you through the wonderfully relaxing experience.
